Bitterroot Furniture wants to do its best to take away some
of the tedious tasks normally associated with planning and designing
the rooms of your home. Using the tools below will help you
save valuable time and perhaps some frustration. No more hand
drawing pieces of furniture, or wondering what furniture size
would best fit the area you are designing for. Once the furniture
pieces are cut out they can be moved around on the grid, giving
you the ability to try out different furniture groupings.
The design grid provided is 1/4 inch scale. Each small box is
equal to 1 square foot, and the larger box is equal to 5 square
ft. The grid is equal to the size of a 30' by 40' room.
Measure your room, and draw it to scale on the grid. Make sure
to measure and draw in windows, doorways, fireplaces, or any
immovable object. Cut out the desired furniture pieces and position
them in the area that you have drawn on the grid. You could
also cut the grid to the desired measurements, again, measuring
for windows, doorways, fireplaces, or any immovable object,
drawing those in and then placing your furniture pieces.
